After nearly a decade of consistent training, I had the privilege of competing in the IPF British Powerlifting Classic Bench Press Championships on 23rd February. I originally entered the competition with the goal of fighting for silver, as there were some very strong lifters, but the competition went my way on the day and I walked away with gold! I'm also proud to have subsequently been offered the opportunity to lift at Worlds in May.

A huge thank you to my coach, Luke Rogers, for his support in the lead up to this achievement, and on the day.
